Déjà vu III was built in 2000 by Seawind Catamarans of Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia.  And was originally named `Tsunami’ … a stupid name I never liked.
Déjà vu is officially a ten (10) metre yacht, hence the definition Seawind 1000 … however, with the prodder/bowsprit sticking out from the for’ard crossbeam, another one metre is added.  She has a beam (width) of 5.91 metres.

The Seawind 1000 was designed as a coastal cruising yacht, I guess, primarily, for the East coast of Australia, including the Great Barrier Reef.  However, she has proven to be a `tough’ vessel capable of withstanding the rigors of International travel and this has been proven by Déjà vu now being in Turkey.
